Fire dance after every festival in the Northern Ivory Coast. It was worth doing.

Based on today's (Aug. 31st) press conference on the borders & confirmation from immigration. Here is the following information:

1.) Incoming flight to Ghana will be open tomorrow September 1st, 2020. (Land and Sea still closed)

2.) Travelers must have a negative PCR COVID test within 72 hours of arrival at KIA i.e. Ghana International Airport

3.) A face mask is required upon arrival at Kotoka International Airport

4.) Passengers will undergo a Rapid COVID test on arrival at Kotoka International Airport

5.) The cost for this arrival rapid COVID test is $150, plan to pay this amount on arrival. The test should take 30 mins to confirm the results.

6.) No QUARANTINE needed but expect to be quarantined if you test positive on the rapid test on arrival. (Standard process everywhere).

7.) There is still a visa on arrival (requires a sponsor).

8.) Yellow fever vaccine is required unless you have a doctor's excuse. This is a life-time test but you must show proof i.e. the yellow paper for verification.

9.) Check with your airlines to see if they will offer rapid test prior to departure from the country of origin. If they do, factor that extra time in your plans.
