In 2019 as part of the Year of Return, we curated an amazing experience we called the Sankofa Healing Journey. With this, we offerred our brothers and sisters in the diaspora an opportunity to have the First Bath of Return and Naming Ceremony at the spiritual grounds of the Assin Manso Ancestral River Site. Last year through the Adinkra Group and Diallo Sumbry, we hosted the power couple, Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade at Assin Manso Ancestral River Site in the making of the documentary, "Gabrielle Union: My Journey to 50". The documentary exclusively streams on BET+ on June 15.

Did you know that....

The Big Tree Tourist Site is one of the awe-inspiring tourist attractions in Ghana and it has the Biggest Tree in West Africa? The Tree known in Akan as ‘Baku’ and Tieghemella Heckelii as its botanical name from the Sapotaceae family is found in the Essen Epam Forest Reserve in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The site has over 30 tree species together with the adjoining Esuboni Forest Reserve that are used for many things. The site which was redeveloped in 2021 is located at Aprokumase in Asene-Manso-Akroso District.
