For the Akan and Ga community, is usually considered a celebratory dish used to mark important milestones in a person's life. It's pretty simple to prepare but this doesn't take away from how ridiculously satisfying this meal is, when garnished with some groundnuts and avocado slices 😋

Nzulezu is a 600-year-old stilt village in the Western Region of Ghana 🇬🇭. The village overlooks Lake Tadane and entirely made up of stilts and platforms are from trees called Kako and Raffia palms. Over 500 people still live here, carrying out normal daily life from fishing, baptisms to pounding of the fufu along with primary school for children. Each of the families has canoes for accessing the mainland for health care and modern amenities. The beautiful Nzulezo.
