Today at the Manhyia Palace, His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II held a grand durbar of Chiefs in honour of His Majesty King Mswati III of Eswatini.

I had the honour of representing H.E. the President of the Republic at this historic gathering, alongside the Hon. Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim.

This durbar was not only a celebration of African royalty and heritage but also a powerful reminder of the shared history, unity, and potential for deeper collaboration between our nations. Otumfuo’s wisdom and hospitality were once again on full display, as he reaffirmed the cultural strength of Asanteman and Ghana.

We remain committed to strengthening diplomatic, cultural, and economic ties across Africa, inspired by such moments of unity and tradition.
