Feet on steel, hearts in the clouds —
Across Adomi’s graceful arch they go,
Where Volta whispers stories below,
And Nkrumah’s dream still spans the flow.
A journey through time, step by step.

Today, we share the story of how it all began with our Nigerian couple.

By the kind recommendation of our Ewe brother, Paul Atsu, we were connected to a Nigerian called Eric who had a friend planning a trip to Ghana.

We later got in touch with Jude who had a desire to surprise his fiancée with a trip to Ghana and to experience the warmth of the country together for the first time in their lives.

Thank you very much Paul. We are grateful you mentioned our name in a room of opportunity. God bless you and everyone who recommends us to others.

The Ewes have a saying that says when you k*!! a snake, you have to cut off its head.
So after all was said and done, we picked up our Nigerian couple from the hotel and dropped them off at the Kotoka International Airport at 5:30am with their departure scheduled for 7:45am.

It was a surreal moment for us but we trust that we gave them an awesome experience of Ghana.
We thank them for choosing 1957 Footprints Tour and we look forward to keeping them close to our chests to enable us foster future engagements.

Our final tour day was a rollercoaster of emotions. We spent the day with nature visiting the Shai Hills Resource Reserve to interact with animals and be surrounded by the green environment.
We proceeded to Adomi Bridge and had a brief walk across the bridge and take in its breathtaking view.
We continued to Afrikiko River Front for a boat cruise towards the Akosombo dam.

Our Nigerian couple had a swell time in Ghana and wished to have spent more days touring our beautiful country ❤️

Day 3 was a special day for our Nigerian couple because it was the birthday of our beautiful lady.
So the day was full of fun activities and afforded the couple a moment to truly bond.

We started with an early morning surprise birthday ambush with a saxophonist serenading their hotel room with beautiful melodies and a bouquet of flowers, champagne and delicious cake.

We set up a birthday lunch buffet at Marriott Hotel where the kitchen staff also sang their hearts out for the couple.

We proceeded to Shornaa Island for some fun games and activities before storming the streets of Osu for some street Shawarma and catfish.

We created a memorable day for our couple, one they would cherish for a long time❤️

On Day 2, we toured very prominent and interesting places in the Eastern Region.
We started our day at the Aburi Botanical Gardens.
From there, we drove all the way to see the Umbrella Rock, Three Headed Palm Tree and Fertility Rock.
After the hike and a good sweat, we dived into the Boti Waterfalls for a cool bath.
