Wli Waterfalls (pronounced ‘vlee’), also called Agumatsa Falls, is a popular and stunning tourist site near the village of Wli, not far from the Togo border. Most tourists make the easy walk to the lower falls, which features a mostly flat trail but is beautifully set, enhanced by the presence of thousands of fruit bats nesting high on nearby cliffs. The equally tall and more remote upper falls offer a special treat for those with the stamina for a challenging hike. There are inviting pools at the base of both falls where the brave can take a refreshing dip... The first option is the lower falls, a straightforward 45-minute walk. The second is a 3-hour hike that requires some stamina and good hiking shoes. The third is a 5-hour trek, not for the faint-hearted... so it’s up to you to choose the option that matches your ability… if you wish to travel to this destination, check our bio and reach out..
