My name is Mustapha and I have been an official bird watching guide in The Gambia for over 20 years.

My neighbour, who was one of The Gambias first official bird guides started taking me with him at a young age to help with his tours and started teaching me the importance of the birds in The Gambia, from there my passion for bird watching began.

I am part of the The Gambia Bird Watching Association a group of birding guides that work together from our office by Kotu Bridge. We are all licensed guides through The Gambia tourist board and pride ourselves on providing informative and interesting tours to help people discover The Gambia’s vast array of wildlife. With over 600 species of birds I offer a number of tours and excursions, from beginners to avid birdwatchers I can help you discover the beauty of The Gambia.
