On behalf of the Birdwatchers Association of The Gambia, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who visited our stand and to all the participants at Global Birdfair 2026. It was a pleasure meeting so many passionate birdwatchers, conservationists, tour operators, and friends from around the world. Your interest, encouragement, and support made this year’s event a great success.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the Gambia Tourism Board (GTBoard) and the International Trade Centre (ITC) for their invaluable support in facilitating our participation. Thank you for providing us with the exhibition stand and the logistical support that enabled us to proudly promote The Gambia as one of Africa’s premier birdwatching destinations.

Your partnership and commitment to promoting sustainable tourism and bird conservation are greatly appreciated. We look forward to building on the connections made during the event and to welcoming many more visitors to The Gambia in the future.
