1940s). No cars are permitted in Stenies which is why it is so quiet and tranquil. Visitors can choose to park in one of the 3 parking lots at the edge of Stenies and then walk to their destination within the village. And, even more idyllic is the veranda at the front of the houses, which make a great space to enjoy a glass of retsina - or if you are not so inclined, a gin and tonic.
