The landscape becomes rawer.
The distances feel different.
Dry-stone walls trace the hills, dirt tracks cross the mountains and the Aegean appears again and again between the folds of the land.
Our 4×4 Off-Road Adventure is about exploring Andros beyond the main road network — travelling through its rugged interior and coastline, reaching remote viewpoints, quiet beaches and places that reveal a very different character of the island.
There is no fixed scenery and no need to rush from one “must-see” stop to another. The route is shaped by the day, the conditions and the interests of the people travelling with us.
We drive. We stop. We explore.
Sometimes we walk a little. Sometimes we stay longer by the sea. And sometimes the best part of the day is simply the road itself.

Some roads in Andros lead far beyond the usual island views.

Our Off the Beaten Track Sightseeing Tour follows the quieter roads of Korthi, through green valleys, stone-built villages and places shaped by centuries of island life.

Visit the fortified Monastery of Panachrantos, walk beneath the old stone bridge of the Dipotamata Valley and discover the ruins of the medieval Upper Castle. Continue through traditional villages before reaching Ormos Korthiou for time by the sea.

Depending on the day, the experience can end with a swim, a relaxed lunch by the water or an optional visit to the iconic Grias to Pidima beach.

Our walk begins at the Pythara Waterfalls, where crystal-clear springs tumble through one of the greenest landscapes in the Cyclades.
From there, we wander beneath the shade of plane trees, following quiet paths that lead us to the Botanical Garden and the historic Agadakis Estate—places that reveal how nature and people have shaped this corner of Andros for generations.

Before we head back, we pause under the trees to share a picnic of carefully selected local flavours: island cheeses, seasonal produce, homemade delicacies and other products made by the people who keep Andros' culinary traditions alive.
Because getting to know a place isn't only about where you walk.
It's also about what you taste, who you meet and the stories you take home.
