Santorini Feelings all about Santorini feelings .. Please let me introduce my self. My name is Marika Katholos. My favorite of all – Santorini. This is where I fell in love.

I am a wife and a mother of two wonderful children who all her life has had a strong passion for Greece. Born in Buffalo, NY, I spent my childhood years dreaming of the last day of the school year when I would pack my bags to start my journey to the land of my father – Hellas ….. to spend two glorious months traveling from village to village and island to island. As I stepped off the boat after a

rockey 8 hr trip as dizzy as could be – I was in awe with what I saw in front of me. The most beautiful, exotic place on earth that was like no other. This was the moment I decided, that some way – some how I would spend the rest of my life in this magical country of Greece – a true diamond in the rough. From the first moment, I believed that there is soo much more than meets the eye and that this is truly a country unlike any other. It was the simplicity of its beauty, the warmth of its people, with its most delicious cuisine that made me feel that this it what life is all about. I felt that I could never get enough. Hence, for the past 22 year, I am a permenant resident. And just like that sunny day some 30 years ago when I first stepped off that boat, my love for Santorini has developed into a passion in which I want to share with the rest of the world. I want everyone to experience what I have and that is why I decided to create this blog.
