September 7-10: Stations on Metro Line 3 close earlier – Special bus line in operation
Rail replacement works on Line 3 of the Athens Metro continue, with work being carried out from Monday, September 7, in the "Elaionas - Monastiraki" section, where temporary traffic regulations will be applied during the night hours.
Specifically, from Monday 07/09 to Thursday 10/09, the "Elaionas", "Kerameikos" and "Monastiraki" stations will close at 21:40 in the evening, 2 and a half hours earlier than the specified end of traffic.
Train movement on Line 3 during the work hours will be carried out between the stations "Municipal Theatre - Egaleo" and "Syntagma - Plakentias Municipality - Airport".
The last trains, before the stations close, will depart:

from AIGALEO to D. PLAKENTIAS at 21:20,
from ELAIONA to D. PLAKENTIAS at 21:22,
from KERAMEIKO to D. PLAKENTIAS at 21:25,
from MONASTIRAKI to D. PLAKENTIAS at 21:27,
from D. PLAKENTIAS to MUNICIPAL THEATRE at 21:30,
from SYNTAGMA to MUNICIPAL THEATRE at 21:49,
from MONASTIRAKI to MUNICIPAL THEATRE at 21:51,
from KERAMEIKO to MUNICIPAL THEATRE at 21:53,

After the start of technical works at 21:40, trains heading to the Airport will depart from Syntagma station and trains departing from the Airport will end their route at Syntagma station. In detail:

To serve the passenger public, OASA is launching (for Sunday to Thursday, from 21:40 until the end of Metro traffic) the temporary bus Line X24 "Syntagma Metro Station - Egaleo Metro Station" , which will pass through all closed stations and will connect Egaleo Station with Syntagma Station. The line will make the following stops:

"F. SYNTAGMA" (existing stop on Vasilissis Amalias Street named SYNTAGMA),
"F. OMONIA" (existing stop on Panepistimiou Street named OMONIA),
"MONASTIRAKI STATION TO AIGALEO" (existing stop on Ermou Street),
"ST. KERAMEIKOS" (existing stop on the Iera Odos named SIDERA),
"ST. ELEIONAS" (existing stop on the Sacred Road with the name MUNICIPAL STATION),
"F. AIGALEO DISEMBARKATION" (existing stop on the Holy Way named ESTAVROMENOS).
