If you visit Athens before April 11, treat yourself to the “From Monet to Warhol” exhibition at the Basil and Elise Goulandris Foundation.

Though smaller and less known, it is one of the city’s most inspiring museums—yet another reminder of how intimate spaces can showcase world-class art and create the most meaningful moments.

What will truly blow your mind is learning about the Divisionist technique (see the two photos in the middle by Camille Pissarro). If you’re not familiar, Google it! And be sure to look up Georges Seurat’s work, too. You’ll be astonished.
