The beaches in Crete that will make you rebook your flight before you even leave 🏖️🇬🇷

Most tourists never find them and I can personally say I came back from my trip last summer saying that they were some of the best beaches in Greece!

Seitan Limania 🌊 — the first stop I send every client to straight off the plane. A remote rocky cove surrounded by dramatic rock formations with water so turquoise it doesn’t look real. 15 minutes from the airport.

Balos Lagoon 🩵 — only reachable by boat or a serious 4x4 drive and worth absolutely every second of the journey to get there. The moment the lagoon comes into view from the water is one of the most breathtaking things I have ever experienced. White sand, shallow turquoise water that goes on forever and the island of Gramvousa rising dramatically beside it.

Elafonisi 🌸 — pink sand beach. Yes, actually pink. In Greece. The sand gets its color from crushed coral shells and the water is so shallow and turquoise it looks like a tropical lagoon. One of the most unique beaches in all of Europe and completely unmissable.

Preveli Beach 🌴 — you hike through a palm tree gorge with a river running alongside you and arrive at one of the most dramatic and beautiful beaches on the island. There is genuinely nothing like Preveli anywhere else in Greece. The combination of palm trees, fresh water river and Aegean sea meeting in one place is extraordinary. This is south Crete at its most magical.

Kalypso Beach 🏖️ — tucked beneath dramatic cliffs on the south coast with crystal clear water and almost zero tourists even in peak summer season. The drive to get here winds through some of the most beautiful Cretan countryside you will ever see. Sit here for an afternoon and you will understand exactly why people keep coming back to Crete year after year.

Five beaches. One island. This is why Crete deserves more than two nights.

Give it the time it deserves, and comment “CRETE” to plan your trip properly ✈️

Naxos the Greek island I keep booking for my clients and never get tired of 🏝️🇬🇷

While everyone rushes to Santorini, Naxos is sitting here quietly being the most beautiful, most authentic and most underrated island in the Cyclades. And as a travel advisor who has planned multiple trips here,my clients are absolutely obsessed every single time.

Here’s why I keep sending people to Naxos:

The beaches 🏖️ — Agios Prokopios, Plaka and Mikri Vigla are some of the longest, most beautiful beaches in all of Greece. Crystal clear, golden sand, shallow water. Genuinely unreal.

The food 🫒 — Naxian cheese, fresh seafood, slow-roasted lamb, local kitron liqueur. The food scene here rivals anywhere in Greece and costs a fraction of what you’d pay in Santorini.

The Portara at sunset 🏛️ — the unfinished Temple of Apollo at the edge of the port. Watching the sun go down behind it is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.

The boat trip to Koufonissia ⛵ — a full day cruise to the small Cyclades that my clients consistently say was the highlight of their entire trip.

The vibe, authentic, relaxed, genuinely Greek. No pretension, no crowds, just real island life.
This is Greece before everyone finds out about it. And if it’s not on your itinerary yet, it should be.

Paros or Naxos? As a travel advisor this is one of the most common questions I get and honestly both are incredible for different reasons 🏝️🇬🇷

🌀Choose Paros if you want: Charming Naoussa harbor, stylish boutique hotels, sunset dinner vibes, lively nightlife and a chic island atmosphere. It’s romantic, polished and perfect for couples.

🌀Choose Naxos if you want: The best beaches in the Cyclades, authentic Greek village life, incredible local food (Naxian cheese, fresh seafood), windsurfing at Mikri Vigla and more space to breathe. It’s bigger, more affordable and genuinely stunning.

👩‍💻 My honest travel advisor opinion? Book both. They’re only 20 minutes apart by ferry and together they make the perfect Cyclades combination.

I’ve planned multiple honeymoon and anniversary trips through both islands and my clients consistently say it’s the best part of their Greece trip. DM me “PAROS NAXOS” and let’s build your itinerary ✈️

10 days in Greece, the exact itinerary I would build for my clients 🇬🇷

Whether you’re traveling as a couple or going solo, this is the Greece itinerary for anyone who wants that perfect mix of history, culture, island life and affordable luxury. Here’s how I’d break it down:

Days 1–2: Athens 🏛️
Start here, always. The Acropolis, a Greek mythology tour, a private food walking tour through Varvakios market and rooftop bars with Acropolis views at sunset. Athens is the perfect intro to Greece and sets the tone for everything ahead.

Days 3-4: Naxos 🏝️
The hidden gem of the Cyclades. Stunning beaches, fresh local produce, charming villages and a fraction of the price of Santorini. This is where affordable luxury really shines, beautiful boutique stays, incredible food and crystal clear water without the crowds.

Days 5-7: Santorini 🌅
The iconic caldera views, Oia at golden hour, fresh seafood with your feet in the Mediterranean breeze. For couples this is pure magic. For solo travelers the atmosphere here is electric and incredibly easy to meet people. Book your hotel and restaurants well in advance, it sells out fast.

Days 8–10: Crete 🫒
End on a high. Crete deserves at least 3 days; dramatic gorges, Venetian harbors, the best food in all of Greece and beaches that will genuinely take your breath away. Perfect for couples wanting a romantic finish and solo travelers wanting to explore freely.

This is Greece done properly, not rushed, not overpriced and not just Santorini.

Whether you’re planning a romantic escape or a solo adventure with a little luxury, DM me and let’s build your perfect Greece itinerary ✈️
