father’s date of birth, honouring in this way a man
who taught style, elegance and class to his children
from a very young age, through his cosmopolitan
experience and wide knowledge of culture, design
and art. The creation of formal clothes is the trademark
of the Krithariotis family, and the initial idea of the
launch of 5226 was to give the chance to a wi

audience to own premium quality, chic design
clothes in much more affordable prices than tailored
items, but still with the same intriguing glamour
and premium quality. Nikos Krithariotis, the man responsible for
the menswear line 5226, is a staunch believer in
effortless luxury. His guy is neither a fashion crazy
adolescent nor a try hard dandy. He is rather a
young, sophisticated individual, who wants to infuse
his active life with style without compromising
either his comfort or his ease. The main body of the collection is formed by
updated classics: a well fitted suit, double or single
breasted, a soft leather biker jacket that looks as if it
rested in your wardrobe forever, a mackintosh that
pays tribute to a young Belmondo or a cashmere
cardigan with soft suede panels that has been a stable
in a “lad’s” closet since the beginning of time! There is a strong interaction between the sporty
and the urban, the casual and the formal, much like
the lifestyle in big cities nowadays.
5226 has already successfully launched 7 menswear
collections, which have been very well received by
the industry, achieving sales to global high fashion
icon establishments, such as “Harrods”, and trendy,
high end boutiques, such as “Scoop” in the US, as
well as to several high end boutiques in the Greek
market. In addition, 5226 clothes were selected by
fashion professionals for their exceptional design
and quality over the competition in a labelers
contest conducted in London, thus confirming the
brand’s commitment to quality and style.
