«The most memorable part of the holiday for me was climbing to the top of the Venetian fort on Andros. The views were spectaular and I felt a huge sense of achievement in regaining my fitness after being ill last year.

Also memorable was our walk with Kostis, when we came across a small orthodox church with a service in progress, and several members of the congregation participating from outside. At various points, one of the men fired a rifle into the air, as if to echo the priest’s words. Apparently this is a tradition unique to Tinos!
.I particularly appreciated the way Adriana adjusted the programme to suit our interests and abilities. I enjoyed sharing her deep knowledge of the islands’ history and geography. Kostis also was an excellent guide and was very helpful on the one day when I felt unwell and wanted to finish early. I particularly enjoyed the opportunities to swim in the sea…

Overall I would rate the holiday 5*, I felt refreshed and reinvigorated…”

«Had a wonderful walking holiday! Surprised how varied the terrain on Naxos was. Fabulous walks with stunning views. All this in time for the spring flora: stunning wild orchids among other plants and fauna: goats and «bobbing» lizards, and no snakes - phew. Our guide Annie was brilliant, sharing her knowledge with us and adapting the walks to our individual needs and stamina with patience and great humour. The locals are so welcoming. The accommodation and food – a special thanks to our hostess at the Naxos hotel and her fab breakfasts - was excellent. Of course ample wine too. April was a good time to go – not too hot to walk and would love to return to visit other areas with NoFootPrint at the same time of year or pre-autumn. Thanks again!» Ally, Switzerland

“We had a great experience, the walk was wonderful, the people were terrific. There were many memorable parts to the holiday. The hosts at our accommodations were wonderful people, especially Nana in Stemnitsa. The villages we stayed in were lovely, the first sighting of Lagkadia was special. The swim in Lousios river at the base of the climb up to Dimitsana was refreshing and invigorating. The villages were beautiful and genuine. Overall it was a great walk, the accommodation was great, the day’s walks were good, the distances not too far, having long and short distances alternating meant we were not stretched and were able to enjoy the walking, the forests and the views.” ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
