✨ A proud moment for The Halo Collection.

Seeing The Hive, The Hill and The Silk House together in the pages of Maison & Décoration was rather special for Jeff and me. 🤍

The magazine called the feature “The Geometry of Hospitality” - a title I love because it captures what connects our three very different Athens homes.

The Hive in Kypseli.

The Hill near Lycabettus.

The Silk House in Metaxourgeio.

Three homes. Three neighbourhoods. Three different sides of Athens.

We never wanted to create the same home three times. Each property was designed to respond to its building, its history and the neighbourhood around it, while creating a place where our guests can genuinely feel at home.

It is also the idea behind the three rings of The Halo Collection: the guest, the home and the neighbourhood.

A big thank you to Maison & Décoration for featuring our story, and to Themis and Kostas Zouzoulas for their architectural and engineering work behind these homes. 🙏
Most days, I’m still looking at the practical things - the lighting, whether a chair is in the right place, or where a guest will put their suitcase.

So it is lovely, once in a while, to step back, be thankful and appreciate what we have built together. 🤍

The laiki told me what to cook today. 💜

Figs are in season in Greece, and right now the stalls at our local Athens laiki are overflowing with them.

Soft. Fragrant. Ridiculously sweet.

Naturally, I bought too many. 😂

So I came home and made a warm, rustic fig crumble.

And this is exactly what I love about the laiki: you don’t necessarily arrive knowing what you’re going to cook.

You wander.
You look.
You taste.
You see what nature has decided is ready.

And somehow, the menu writes itself.

It’s also one of my favourite ways to experience Athens beyond the guidebooks. 🇬🇷

Shop where the locals shop.
Eat what’s in season.
Take it home.
Make something delicious.

Sometimes that’s the Athens memory you end up keeping. 💙
