At V+O Greece | SEC Newgate, we are always proud to champion culture, connection, and exchange.

It was therefore a great pleasure for our team to work alongside the Italian Cultural Institute of Athens for the “Intersezioni” Award Ceremony, held at the Athens Concert Hall this June. Promoted by the Centre for Books and Reading of the Italian Ministry of Culture in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Athens, the Award supports the international reach of contemporary Italian fiction, opening new pathways for selected works to reach Greek readers through translation.

With the creative support of Unlimited Creativity, we contributed to the event's guest outreach and experience, playing a part in an evening that celebrated literature’s power to spark connections and deepen the dialogue between Italy and Greece.

It was a privilege to contribute to this celebration, and we look forward to more moments where ideas, stories and voices intersect.

Working with Toyota Hellas at this year's EKO Acropolis Rally meant bringing together people, ideas, and different communications disciplines around one common objective.

Institutional engagement, media relations, executive visibility, educational initiatives, content, and stakeholder engagement all came together to create an integrated communications programme with impact beyond the event itself.

V+O Greece | SEC Newgate supported LAMDA Development S.A.’s presence in Brussels around the event “Next-generation urban development: Building the cities of tomorrow”, hosted at the European Parliament on the initiative of MEP Dimitris Tsiodras.

Through a focused stakeholder engagement programme, the team helped bring The Ellinikon closer to key European audiences, creating opportunities for meaningful conversations with policymakers, media representatives and business communities.

The programme included targeted meetings, a media roundtable with Brussels-based and international journalists, and a dinner in collaboration with ARGO – Hellenic Network in Brussels.

The return of world-class women’s tennis to Athens after 36 years marked an important milestone for Greek sports.

V+O Greece | SEC Newgate was entrusted with the strategic communications and public relations programme of the Vanda Pharmaceuticals Athens Open WTA 250, a landmark international tournament that brought Athens back onto the global tennis map.
This marked our second consecutive collaboration with a major international professional tennis tournament in Greece, following the Vanda Pharmaceuticals Hellenic Championship 2025, further confirming our expertise in managing demanding communications projects with international visibility.

Through strategic planning, media relations, press office operations, content creation and coordination with institutional bodies, sponsors and stakeholders, our team supported the visibility, public profile and broader impact of a tournament that reconnected Greek audiences with top-level women’s tennis.

At this year's THE BIG P. Event, V+O Group | SEC Newgate contributed to two discussions that explored transformation through different, yet complementary, lenses.

Tania Giakoumaki, General Manager of Curious Ahead, discussed why organizations need to move beyond viewing AI solely as a productivity tool and start building proprietary AI ecosystems that transform knowledge into lasting competitive advantage. She also addressed how reputation is shaped in the age of AI, and how brands can protect themselves while maintaining relevant, accurate, and AI-optimized visibility.
