V+O Group | SEC Newgate, together with Coca-Cola Tria Epsilon and its premium coffee brand Caffè Vergnano, successfully organized the Caffè Vergnano World Cup 2026 | Greece Chapter, an initiative that brought together professionals from across Greece’s HoReCa sector, highlighting talent, expertise and the pursuit of excellence in the evolving coffee culture.

The event brought together baristi who shared one common passion for excellence. From creativity and technique to dedication and innovation, the competition highlighted the talent shaping the future of coffee in Greece. Congratulations to Giorgos Tsigaridas, who will represent Greece at the international final Caffè Vergnano World Cup 2026 in Chieri Italy!

A remarkable year for V+O Group | SEC Newgate at the IPRA Golden World Awards 2026, with six distinctions bringing our total tally to 22 awards at one of the world's most respected institutions for strategic communications and public relations.

The future of carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) in Greece was at the centre of discussion in Kavala, at the C.R.E.S event “Development of the CCUS Chain in Greece”, which was held in the context of the HERCCULES and COREu pilot projects, which are funded by the European Union. The event brought together representatives from industry, academia, the scientific community and European and local stakeholders.

As strategic communications partners of EnEarth, our teams at V+O Greece | SEC Newgate and Curious Ahead were delighted to support the company's participation in the event and engage with the discussions shaping the future of carbon management and industrial decarbonisation in Greece.

A particular highlight was the visit to the Prinos offshore platform aboard the Energean Wave, offering a first-hand perspective on the infrastructure behind the Prinos CO₂ Storage project and the role it can play in supporting the development of the CCUS value chain in Greece.

At V+O Greece | SEC Newgate, we are always proud to champion culture, connection, and exchange.

It was therefore a great pleasure for our team to work alongside the Italian Cultural Institute of Athens for the “Intersezioni” Award Ceremony, held at the Athens Concert Hall this June. Promoted by the Centre for Books and Reading of the Italian Ministry of Culture in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Athens, the Award supports the international reach of contemporary Italian fiction, opening new pathways for selected works to reach Greek readers through translation.

With the creative support of Unlimited Creativity, we contributed to the event's guest outreach and experience, playing a part in an evening that celebrated literature’s power to spark connections and deepen the dialogue between Italy and Greece.

It was a privilege to contribute to this celebration, and we look forward to more moments where ideas, stories and voices intersect.

Working with Toyota Hellas at this year's EKO Acropolis Rally meant bringing together people, ideas, and different communications disciplines around one common objective.
