🐾 Frankie the little cat who used to live down on the beach is looking for some help.

He’s ready to head to the UK to go to a specialist cat sanctuary and continue his recovery and hopefully find a home. He just needs a bit of help to get there 💗

In November we had an amazing Olive harvest from the garden- giving us a fresh supply of olive oil for our guests to use when they stay 🫒 🥗

The Olive Grove - Pool area/ garden. We are very lucky to have 5 orange trees and 1 big Lemon tree that supplies lots of fruit 🍋🍊 We get so many lemons that we slice and freeze them for guests to enjoy in your summer drinks 🍹
We also have mature olive trees that we harvest every November that give us our yearly supply of Olive Oil. You will be able to try this during your stay and take a bottle home with you 🫒

🇬🇷 The Olive Grove Summer 2025 Bookings - if you’re thinking of a Greek getaway next summer then give us a shout 🧿

Almyrida is beautiful beach resort in Crete with lots of beach front tavernas, cafes, supermarkets and gift shops!

🫒The Olive Grove Villa is approx 400m from the beach and has 2 double bedrooms, kitchen, living room and walk in shower upstairs in the main house.
Then it has a separate self contained apartment downstairs that has a double bed and 2x single sofa beds.

☀️You will find lots of different areas around the enclosed garden to sit. We also have a roof top seating area with sea views 😎
(perfect for sun downers 🍹)

🏖️There is a private pool where you will find more seating, sun loungers and umbrellas.

🌴The garden is full of Olive trees- that we have just harvested and got our next years supply of olive oil from. There are also Orange trees, lemon, pomegranate, banana and avocado trees ☀️

🐢 On the beach front you can also find a water sports center, diving center and a boat hire so you can go off and explore the island. We have been very privileged to swim with a couple of turtles on numerous occasions this autumn/winter right in the bay, so you don’t need to go far for an underwater safari 😉

✈️ The closest airport is Chania airport (around 40mins and taxis to and from the airport cost approx €60)
