Fear not! Our apartments are located in one of the safest and most beautiful places of the island. Glyfada is a large beach with fine sand that lends a characteristic blue-green hue to the water. It is fully organized, with umbrellas, recliners, showers, water-sports and a beach volellyball court.

We have a total of 20 apartments, each with different sizes and flavours to accomodate your needs!

EVERY apartment has a sea-view balcony, an open kitchen connected to the living room, bedrooms, bathrooms and all the amenities necessary for a confortable stay 🌷

🇬🇷The Varkarola Festival in Corfu🇬🇷

"Varkarola is a well-known nighttime event that is held on Corfu Island each summer! It is a mock recreation of the battle that took place on August 11th, 1716 that ended in a Turkish retrieval.

It is believed that Saint Spyridon worsened the weather conditions, creating an unfavorable battlefield. The unprecedented extreme weather halted the actions of the Turks, who otherwise were well on their way to conquering the island and the rest of the Ionians.

The event takes place either in the bay of Paleokastritsa in western Corfu or in the bay of Garitsa near Corfu Town on a Saturday closest to August 11th.

As the mock battle occurs, an array of small boats travel alongside the bay, whereas local bands play traditional tunes and Corfiot dancers give the visitors a show!

Concluding the Varkarola event, a boat is set on fire for symbolic reasons, in memory of the burning of the Turkish naval in the 1716 siege. Paired with a highly-impressive firework display, the battle recreation and the lit night sky present an anticipated festival that attracts myriads of tourists and local visitors each year!"

🌿´´Weasels, foxes, hedgehogs, otters and other wildlife gather mainly in the wetland areas of Corfu´´🌿

Here are some of Corfu´s wildlife animals:

🌲Hedgehog-If you are walking around the island or driving home at night, or even in your own back yard, you have a good chance of coming across a hedgehog.

🌲Bats-Bats are everywhere on Corfu, only very few people see them!

🌲Marten-One of the fiercest predators of Corfu is the Beech marten or Stone marten. In Greek it’s called “kounavi” and it’s no bigger than a cat;

🌲Mole- barely ever seen, as it spends almost all its life underground;

🌲Boar-There aren’t many, but there are still wild boars in Corfu. They are more towards the south of the island. They live in the mountains and come out at night;

🌲European Otter- this semi-aquatic mammal can be found in river, streams and places like Erimitis, however, they are endangered;

🌲Birds of prey-Corfu is home to several species of birds of prey, including eagles, falcons, and owls. Plenty of times you can find owls on the roads at night down in the valley. Eagles, falcons and hawks you can find up in the mountain on the trails and you’ll see them up in the air looking for prey;

🌲The red fox was primarily found in the island's rocky northeast
