The Corona virus (COVID-19) has affected us and every one in the tourist business
We fully understand how the spread of Covid-19 has dramatically affected your life and your holiday travel plans. The global travel community is trying, like everyone, to find solutions for this extraordinary situation.
Our priority is to treat all our valued customers with the respect you deserve and offer the same or even higher level of service when regular travel resumes. At the same time, it is our duty to protect –both in health and financially–everyone employed in or dependent on tourism.
Faced with the unprecedented turn of events, the Greek state,as well as other EU countries, recently passed a law regarding the cancellation of a charter that allows businesses in the travel industry to issue a voucher instead of extending an immediate refund.
1. For every charter cancellation or re-scheduling, a voucher for the amount already paid will be issued instead of a refund. If the rescheduled booking is more expensive, the price difference will be charged.
2. The voucher will be valid to use for up to 18 months for the clients to use.
3. The charter companies need to be informed of the cancellation / re-scheduling up to a week before the start date of the charter.
4. For new bookings done as from today and until further notice, a 10% deposit will be required.
5. The deadline for the balance payment of current or future bookings is one week before the charter departure.
Please confirm by return of your intentions or either re-scheduling your charter or moving it for the next year and the voucher will be sent to you.
We really do regret any inconvenience this new legislation may cause, but please bear in mind that particularly in Greece, entire communities primary source of income comes from tourism.
The financial loss incurred to many charter companies including our own is very high and for all companies the next days will be very crucial. Our company being a small one is still sound and we will continue our business the remainder of this year and for the next ones to come We truly believe we are in this together and want to thank you in advance for your understanding.
