In Olympos, a wedding is never just about two people; it’s about the whole community, about keeping our unique spirit alive. Each tradition, no matter how small, carries the memory of those who came before us.
As we prepare for our special day, we feel deeply grateful to be part of something timeless — a way of life that connects us to our ancestors and reminds us of the beauty in simplicity, unity, and belonging.
The days leading up to our wedding in Olympos have been filled with the sound of laughter, music, and the rhythm of old traditions coming to life once more. Women from the village gathered to prepare the handmade garments, weaving patterns that tell stories of love, faith, and family. The men played the lyra and tsambouna, filling the air with melodies that have echoed through our mountains for centuries.
Every corner of the village feels alive, with the smell of bread baking in wood ovens, the vibrant colors of traditional dresses, and the shared excitement of everyone who’s helping make this day a true reflection of our roots!!
