Perhaps you've always fancied a sailing holiday but have no sailing experience. A crewed Yacht charter offers you and your family and friends the ability to enjoy sailing whilst the practical aspects are taken care of by your Skipper and Crew. Lena II

is a 57 foot custom sailing yacht (one of only 5 built) with 3 guest cabins (all en suite) which can accommodate up to 7 guests. Breakfast and lunch is provided on board and you can choose to spend as many nights on board as you wish from a minimum of 3 nights up to a maximum of 3 weeks. Your Skipper Matt will sail you around the beautiful Islands of Corfu, Paxos, Anti Paxos, Lefkada, Meganisi, Kalamos, Kastos, Ithaca, Kefallonia and zakynthos.The route can even be chosen by you with advice from your Skipper. Perhaps whilst on board you might like to assist with the sailing of the yacht or alternatively just relax like a VIP and soak up the sun. During your holiday you will have the opportunity of swimming and snorkelling in the clear turquoise waters of the Ionian sea, Dolphin spotting, relaxing in some of the beautiful secluded bays and spending time ashore to explore some of the most picturesque Islands in Greece.

We find our selves preparing for a rare event. A hurricane has formed in the southern mediterranean between Italy and Libya and is heading straight for us. We expect winds of 100kph+ and a shed load of rain. We have fitted bow and spring lines and are hoping that the rocna will live up to its reputation.

Today we battled high winds and short sharp seas as we made the 25nm trip to Plataria. Winds steady at 35kts with gusts nearing 50kts at times. We sailed under head sail only at reef 3 still managing 7.5knts over ground.
