First firing in the new kiln was successful I
guess...
I kept it simple and used just one white liner glaze which pooled nicely in the texture.
The last two pictures are refired pieces from the Desaster firing last September....
Now again I can go on exploring new techniques and ways to create new ceramics 💗
I'm truly happy that this new studio allows me to create again....so thankful for all the help from my friends and that my health is also back in shape. 🙏🏼

aged by weather and time....maybe 12 years ago I hand built this pot from local earthenware.
It's very heavy which shows that I've just started again with pottery after years. I liked to put it on my new built studio furnishings 😘

Now, after 15 years of being a gas firing potter I will learn to fire my ceramics with electricity ⚡
A new chapter starts like a new morning sun rises....always a new challenge for me on the horizon! 🙏🏼

...First firing after a half year! In a nice Roderveld Raku kiln at a colleague's studio.
And...I celebrated my birthday in historical Mistras (Sparta) on a lovely sunny day with a friend, wandering around and enjoying the lush spring nature. 🙏🏼🪷😊

Die alten Metall Böcke erstrahlen auch in neuem Outfit....sie werden die Basis eines neuen großen Arbeitstisches mit viel Platz für neue und alte Kursteilnehmer ❤️💪🏼🙌🏼
Das Krügelchen ist bereits vor vielen Jahren mal am Strand entstanden...Terra Cotta von hier, mit kleinen engobe Blüten und klarer Glasur. Niedrig gebrannt.

It's a room again!! 🎉 Yesterday I put the last glass panes and now I'm back to wood work...
The shelves have to be done before the electrician comes to connect the indirect lighting. ☺️ It's very exciting 🎉
