The hotel is situated in a 8.5m2 - organic farming estate at the south end of Avdou village, right at the foot of the Lassithi plateau mountain range and 30 km from Heraklion Airport. Olive trees, oranges, tangerines, apricot trees, ki

wis and a Bio-vegetable garden grow in abundance all over the estate. The estate is abundant with serene spots for resting and relaxation. The more active guests can enjoy paragliding, horse riding, trekking, cave exploration and plenty more in the surrounding Avdou area. As an eco-tourism facility, Avdou Collection, offers an alternative way of getting away from it all. All villas and suites have been fully renovated in 2016-2017 and the offer a comfortable and luxurious feeling for the guests. All units have a fireplace which can be used during the cold months and create a romantic atmosphere. The hot spot of the place is the 1500 years old Oak which is decorating the yard in front of the reception and creates a nice atmospheric and relaxing place where you can enjoy a nice drink.

Spring nights in Avdou are calm and simple.
As the sun sets behind the hills, the air cools just enough for a light jacket. Birds settle in, a dog might bark somewhere in the distance, and the village grows quiet — just a few people chatting outside their homes or walking back from the kafeneio.

A soft breeze moves through the olive trees. Step into the garden of one of our villas, and it’s dark enough to see a sky full of stars.

Not much happens — and that’s exactly the charm. It’s peaceful, not because it’s trying to be, but because that’s simply how life flows here. 🌿
