Our Story

Explore our Homeland MESSINIA – GREECE by Sea & Land. Get experiences from nature, culture and heritage of Messinia-Greece through our getaways with our boat and various activities in our farm. Immerse yourself in farm nature activities and sailing trips amid spectacular landscapes and blue sea and combine beautiful views of picturesque villages, beautiful coastline and bountiful land, which produces some of the best olives and olive oil in world.

Messinia Sailing

It is a Messinian family business in the area of daily sailing cruises and pleasure boat chartering for various events. No sailing experience is required. We have many years of experience in sailing and the sea. Enjoy our services in privacy, luxury and comfort with personal attendance and professional care.

Our big ocean class, genuine handcrafted and custom made yacht accommodates 23 pax on day trips and sleeps 8 pax in three ensuite luxury cabins. She is reliable and innovative, combining superior quality and modern design. The interior is made of selected oak woods and traditional craftsmanship with focus on details as is the complete boat. All the deck is covered with Burma teak wood a luxury for the eyes and to sunbathe on. All equipment on the boat like the engine, rigging and winches come from the world’s leading manufacturers. Her interior offers a very spacious saloon around one big dining table. She can accommodate 25 people on her day trips and to offer overnight stay for 8 pax in three ensuite cabins with heads. The galley is equipped with all the necessary equipment such as oven-gas stove-gas BBQ-two refrigerators etc. Boat is equipped with all the modern and necessary navigational equipment such as GPS-Radar,Plotter-Echo sounder-EPIRB, VHF DSC. She is equipped with a DVD player, TV, PC, and sound system. She has a very big cockpit behind a huge spray hood and under a bomini offering a complete shade. She has a convenient swim ladder, deck shower and a gas BBQ.Sails and photovoltaic panels with wind generator of 1 KW make her self-powred. A boat that surpass the highest standards.

Boat cruises: Select the most suitable cruise and your preferred boat or beach activity to enrich your cruise.

Day Sailing Cruises: Full Day, Half Day, Sunset, Moonlight

Special Events Cruises: Birthday & Bachelor Parties, Proposals, Engagements, Weddings, Vow Renewals, Reunions, Team building, Company Meetings.

Sport & Activities Cruises: Regattas, Fishing Trips, Explorations, Sailing Practice.

Many days charters: With overnight stays for 8 persons in three ensuitte cabins, skipper and hostess.

Boat optional & extras: Yummy foul course traditional BBQ or Seafood BBQ, Luxury lunch and dinners, Birthday cakes, Special drinks & champagnes, Events boat decorations, Flower bouquets, Celebration arrangements on the boat and on the beach. Experience the real local culture and heritage with our Farm Culinary Days & Activities. Get authentic smells and tastes of our Homeland Messinia.

Farm is located on the hills just out of Kalamata city with an amazing view of all the Messinian Gulf and fields. Our vision for our farm is pretty simple. We want to create a nurturing space for ourselves, our family, and our animals by making our way in a sustainable manner. We try to contribute something positive to every realm we enter, and trust that by being giddily hopeful we can spread our good humor to others.

We are fans of “natural grown products” and we say Bye-Bye to “organic biz ones”. We hate GMO & hybrid seeds and we try to keep our own seeds. Also we are fans of self-sufficiency, permaculture, and natural way of living. We love to live off-grid (with solar energy support off-course!!) for our essential needs.

We don’t cultivate for business and our farm products are not for trade. They are all produced with personal care,water,manure,compost and lots of love for supporting of our family and business needs only. Any excess production is donated to friends, neighbors and institutions. That’s why most of our guests come for face time - they want to meet Peter and Inna.

Farm activities

They can be also combined with our sailing cruises. For those who have a limited time and they want to enjoy the nature of Messinia by combining pictures and experiences from sea, land and mountain terrain, they have to choose one of the following activities in our farm and to combine them with a sailing leisure trip with our sailboat. If you still have more time you can choose more sailing activities and trips on consecutive or different days. We will assist you to plan and combine all days selected farm activities and boat trips together.

On Saturdays & Sundays: Greek day in the farm with cooking class and starting the woods burning oven. On Mondays: Olives and Olive Oil Day. Olives trees cultivation course ,tastings. On Tuesdays: Dionysus Wine Day, vines cultivation course, tastings. On Wednesdays: Bees & Honey Day. Beekeeping course, honey tastings. On Thursday: Feta & Greek Cheeses day. Make cheese course, tastings. On Fridays: Nature paths and herbs safaris. Trekking and cycling paths around the village.Learn to pick up and taste wild greens, asparagus, mushrooms, and herbs.

We speak Greek-English-Russian. We try to learn more languages as our dream is to having an international community farm and to bring friends from around the world again and again. Friends who love nature and Greek way of living and culture.

Please call us for further information, combination of activities and a quotation. As the pleasant summer weather and peak season months attract visitors and locals alike, it is best to book trips and activities well in advance.
