✨ A friendly reminder when you message a travel agent… ✨

We don’t charge you extra for you to book with us… The commission I earn is already built into the price you pay with the tour operator, whether you use a travel agent or not, so booking direct means you’re paying for a service you don’t actually receive!

What many people don’t realise is this:

🌴 I don’t get paid for providing quotes
🌴 I don’t get paid for research
🌴 I don’t get paid for the hours spent building complex itineraries

Unlike your local high street agent, I only get paid if you book with me, and even then, I am only paid when you return from your trip! I am not salaried🙈

So when I spend hours pricing up twin centres, Caribbean escapes, Thailand & Vietnam tours, US road trips etc, and it’s then booked elsewhere or you don’t respond, the only person who loses out is me. The tour operator keeps the commission that was set aside for a travel agent.

But if you DO book with me, you get:
✔ Same price as booking direct
✔ Personal service and expert planning
✔ Support before, during, and after your trip
✔ You’re supporting a small business at no extra cost to you

If you’re just browsing, that’s absolutely fine, but be honest about it. January is a super busy month, and I want to make sure those who do book, get the right attention. It’s not much to ask you to book with the person who did the work for you 🤍

I have made it to Boston (+ the travel mug 🤪 Now Ayrshire Radio)

🎨 Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum & MassArt Museum: The ideal escape for art lovers.

❄️ Snowport Christmas Markets: Festive vibes, twinkle lights, hot cocoa… absolutely magical!

🌊 Long Wharf: A quiet moment by the water, taking in the skyline. Sometimes solo trips give you the best views and the best clarity.

💃 Finishing the night solo clubbing at The Grand: Because even solo travellers deserve a night out! Boston nightlife? Approved.

Every corner of this city has felt welcoming, walkable, and incredibly safe, which is exactly why Boston is becoming one of my top solo travel recommendations!
