📢 Further Update: Kardamena Evacuation Ended 📢

We are pleased to inform you that the precautionary evacuation of Kardamena has now ended. We are happy to report that nobody has been hurt, and residents and visitors are now returning to their homes and hotels.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone for their cooperation during this time. Special gratitude goes to the rescue workers, volunteers, bus and transfer drivers, locals, and restaurants who provided food and refreshments, as well as the hotels throughout the island that provided accommodation for the night. All of you demonstrated true philoxenia.

We are relieved to confirm that Kardamena village, as well as nearby hotels and resorts, have not sustained any damage. With this rare occurrence now behind us, we encourage you to continue to enjoy the serene lifestyle that Kardamena offers.

Thank you once again for your understanding and support.

📢 Important Notice: Precautionary Evacuation of Kardamena 📢

As a precautionary measure, due to a nearby brush fire, the village of Kardamena is temporarily being evacuated. This is a preventive step to ensure everyone’s safety. Emergency services are actively managing the fire. 🚒

Please proceed calmly to the designated safe areas and follow official updates for further instructions. If you are still in Kardamena, liaise with your hotel reception teams or get in touch with local authorities for advice on the next steps. In case you need assistance, the rescue number is 112. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Please note that this notice only affects residents and visitors at or near Kardamena. If you are in other parts of the island, there is currently no need for concern.
