We may not be next to the sea but we're only 10km from it...but, to make up for it, we have an amazing roof terrace with stunning sea views. Iced Tea from Cafe Alexandros. Local tavernas, wonderful, traditional shops. Amazing Tavernas...To Konaki, Latos, Platanos, Aristidis, Agadiko...

Sitting here on the roof terrace reflecting on our first year so far of Airbnb...
Went 'live' Feb 2020 full of optimism. Within weeks, total lockdown. Our whole of April booking cancelled, our March booking cancelled and later on, more bookings cancelled.
This is not a sob story, we're lucky cos hubby still runs his UK business from here and, until June, I was still working for my employers in the UK but it's a bit of a culture shock losing a monthly salary....
I'm now effectively cleaning for a living and my daughter finds it hilarious because she knows how much I hate housework, but, it's different when you want to promote your own business. We want to provide our guests with everything I would want if I stayed in an Airbnb or self catering apartment.
We've now had two completed bookings at The Old Doctors House. BOTH 5 STARS and now, we are fully booked until we can hopefully get back to the UK in September. Our dream is coming true.
