UPLIFT time with this fun-loving group! We drove to the rocky mountain summit at a little over 1,000m to the stunning "White Church" in our trusty 4x4. With bikes in the back we then enjoyed an exhilarating downhill ride past the abandoned village of Roupakias, to the mountain capital of Karia for coffee, through the mountain villages of Pigadisani, Lazarata, Alexandros and Platistoma before returning to our base close to Nydri. Smiles all round!
The Profitis Ilias church is a charming whitewashed chapel dedicated to the Prophet Elijah, this petite Greek Orthodox church enjoys a dramatic stage on the island’s skyline with nearly 360° views 👌🏼
