First charter of the season, done! Headed south from Kos with a lovely share boat group, some experienced sailors too, which meant we could really let Artemis fly when the wind picked up.

Nisyros first. The group went up to the volcano and Nikia in the morning, came back buzzing. Then a quiet bay in Tilos where we rafted up with friends on another boat for barbecue night. Two boats, cold beers, not another soul around. Plus we could try out our brand new Jobe infinity pool. Chalki next, then Symi. Rounding the corner into that harbour still gets me every time. Quick pit stop in Knidos on the way back, and into Kos on Thursday morning. Tanned, tired, already talking about next time.

What a week to kick off the season. This was one for the books.

One week until the first charter of the season. On Friday we'll be back out! Artemis is ready, the fridge is about to be stocked, and I'm running out of things that need to be done before then, which means it's time.

One of the best moments on every trip is that first float in the turquoise Aegean. The water's warm, the beers are cold, and the boat's not going anywhere until after lunch, probably on the way to Kalymnos or Nisyros.

This was actually taken in Panteli, Leros, right before we headed on land for dinner at Pirofani. If you know, you know.

This one's for Google Ads Experts.

I've got one berth open on our first sailing week of the season in Greece, 29 May to 4 June, and I'm offering it for free in exchange for some Google Ads work.

What I need is someone with hands-on search campaign experience to build additional ad groups targeting our different destinations and audiences. The work includes keyword research, ad copy writing, and getting the new ad groups properly set up. This is a one-off project, not ongoing management. I'll provide full business context and strategy to work from, and the work needs to be finished before we sail back into Leros on 4 June.

In return, you get a week sailing the Greek islands on Artemis worth €1,395. Breakfasts, lunches, drinks, all the sailing you want, the full SeaScape experience. You'd be sharing a bunk bed cabin with another female guest, so this one's for women only.

What I'm looking for:
→ Hands-on experience building and running Google Ads search campaigns
→ Able to do keyword research and write ad copy
→ Available 29 May – 4 June (arriving earlier is possible, we'll work it out)
→ Happy to work a few hours a day

New Year's Eve on a catamaran in the British Virgin Islands

A little over 6 weeks to go until our first charter of the season… and the excitement is quietly building. We’re thinking of heading south, if the weather plays along, towards Nisyros, Chalki, Symi… perhaps even a spontaneous stop at Ogun’s along the way. Back in the marina, Paul is getting Artemis shipshape for the season. Somehow, she manages to look more beautiful every single year. Here’s a little glimpse of last year’s trip south, and what’s waiting out there. Not long now.

Our very first British Virgin Islands charter weeks are officially done and dusted — and let’s just say… this place didn’t just impress us, it properly won us over. It all felt so right that we’ve already made a big decision: we’re coming back. And not just briefly. For the 2026–2027 season, we’re stretching our BVI adventure from 4 weeks to a full 8. Because some destinations deserve more time,and, frankly, a few more sunsets, swims, and the occasional rum punch. 🍹
