Το Σάββατο 07 Ιούνη στις 08:30 π.μ., στην εκκλησία της Μεταμορφώσεως του Σωτήρος στο Πισκοπιανό Χερσονήσου, θα τελεστεί το 40ήμερο μνημόσυνο του Αθανασίου Πασπαλάκη,
πατέρα μας και ιδρυτή του Zakros Tours,.

Όσοι φίλοι και συνεργάτες επιθυμούν να τιμήσουν τη μνήμη του, θα είναι μεγάλη μας χαρά και τιμή να τους έχουμε κοντά μας.

40-Day Memorial Service
On Saturday at 8:30 a.m. 07th of June, at the Church of Metarphosis tou Sotiros in Piskopiano, Hersonissos, the 40-day memorial service of Athanasios Paspalakis,
our father and founder of Zakros Tours, will be held.

Friends and colleagues who wish to honor his memory will be a great joy and honor for us to have with us.

🌧️ Dust rain in Crete...
We're starting to think it might be time to rent camels instead! 🐪
Until then — car washes are on us (and yes, there is a car under there somewhere… we're considering calling in an archaeological team to find it 🏺🔍).

With deep sorrow, we share the passing of our beloved founder and father, Thanassis Paspalakis, who left us today at the age of 85.
His vision, integrity, and dedication laid the foundation of everything we are today.
The funeral will take place tomorrow at 16:30 at the Church of Evangelistria in Hersonissos.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Με βαθιά θλίψη ανακοινώνουμε τον θάνατο του αγαπημένου μας πατέρα και ιδρυτή της εταιρείας μας, που έφυγε από τη ζωή σήμερα σε ηλικία 85 ετών.
Το όραμα, η ακεραιότητα και η αφοσίωσή του αποτέλεσαν τα θεμέλια όλων όσων είμαστε σήμερα.
Η κηδεία θα τελεστεί αύριο στις 17:00 στον Ιερό Ναό Ευαγγελίστριας, στη Χερσόνησο.
Θα μας λείψει βαθιά και θα τον θυμόμαστε για πάντα.

We were asked our favorite tavernas, so here are some choices!

Hersonissos:
A) Mythos Taverna at Sanoudaki 16- Manolis and Gianna have great food and excellent service.
B) Areston Taverna Spanakis near Piskopiano - great local food.
C) Velani Restaurant in Avdou - great food at a great view - of mountains.

Heraklion:
A) Merastri Restaurant: best lamb ever, after 20:00 the oven opens.
B) Ta kalitera: good fish food next to the beach.
C) Outopia: the best chocolate fondue on Crete.
D) Athali: nice cretan restaurant.
E) Yousouro: a nice restaurant for fish at Alikarnassos.

The area of Heraklion:
A) Agios Mironas - Ethimikon. Great everything, exceptional prices.
B) Pendamodi - Stin Plateia, Giorgos' kafeneion. Martha's excellent dishes at a true Cretan kafeneion.
C) Nakli at Galipe - wine, wine, wine. Local and a lot of it with very good oven choices. Especially on Sunday.
D) Aperanto Galazio at Rogdia- at great view, wonderful service and nice food.

Rethymnon area:
A) Christos Taverna at Gallos is a great place to be at a very clean and nice atmosphered restaurant.

Hint 1: in Greek it is called "Easter-ling".
Hint 2: in our cars there is no need for such an investigation talent (to mark any spots/dents on any of our cars) as we are working with all inclusive insurance : )
