Villa Kef

Villa Kef This is a villa on the quieter Lixouri side of the island, on the edge of the village of Havdata.

The location is quiet but ideal for several fabulous beaches and tavernas plus the village has good essential facilities. A video tour of Kefalonia can be found here:

Lemons and bottle brush trees in full swing at villa kef. I've planted a new orange tree recently so as to give the lemon tree a citrus friend.

Fresh bay leaves available off of the new bay tree. Great for cooking.

Well the Solar panels are doing well. Despite being only partially set up, they're generating about 25% of the power needed at the villa.

Hopefully next year I'll have them tuned up, and that'll go up to over 50%.

All the rain this winter has helped the garden and the weeds to grow. All gravelled areas cleared. Just the bottom yard to do...
