A season filled with great fishing, wonderful people, authentic Greek food, and unique experiences that created lifelong memories and friendships.
Now, with the summer of 2026 just around the corner, we are ready to welcome you once again. Poseidon leaves winter behind and returns shortly, dressed at his best, to open the new season.

We’ll show you step by step how to clean the fish, from start to finish, in a relaxed and friendly way. No pressure, no judgment — just helping hands and good vibes. Everyone learns at their own pace, and before you know it, you’ll be doing it confidently too!

The Gambari Shrimp of Kefalonia – A Historic Treasure of the Sea

Historically, the gambari shrimp held special significance for Kefalonian fishermen, symbolizing the island’s rich marine life. It was caught in deep waters around the island using traditional techniques and was mostly prepared in local dishes, such as saganaki or simply boiled with lemon and herbs.

Over time, the reputation of Kefalonia’s gambari shrimp spread, and today it is considered one of the finest-quality shrimp in the Mediterranean. The crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea and the unique underwater landscape provide an ideal environment for its reproduction and growth.

The local community continues to honor the gambari shrimp not only as a delicacy but also as a part of its cultural and maritime heritage.
