It is a 106m2 apartment with a large balcony of 54 m2, on the third floor of a building in front of the sea. It has spectacular views over the sea and mountains. It is only 50 km away from a ski center. Free private parking for 2 cars. It sleeps 7-9. It was refurbished in 2023 and has the latest energy-saving external insulation with aluminum windows and doors.

This fully-furnished rental is ideal for a retired couple who want to live in Greece. It is 1h 45 minutes drive to the center of Athens or to the international airport. It is also connected to Athens and to the airport with buses and trains. It is only half an hour drive away from a large hospital in the city of Aigio. In addition, it is one hour drive from Patras, Greece's third largest city, with the largest and most sophisticated hospital and related medical services in Western Greece.

Akrata and neighbouring Aigeira has restaurants which are open year-round. It is accessible from the International Airport of Athens via train and bus. From its central location, it is practical to drive to many sightseeing spots in the Peloponnese, the Ionian islands and in Delphi. It is ideal for German-speakers given the satellite TV receiver with almost all German speaking channels. Apart from the master bedroom for a couple, there are three other bedrooms to accommodate family visitors. In addition, the flat can sleep 2 more guests on 2 single bed/sofas in the living room. It has a total of 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. 3 min. walk to Vrahinari sandy beach. Vatsa sandy beach is nearby. The villa is within its quiet and private estate of 6,000 m2 with an organic certified olive grove, fully fenced and gated. It is ideal for children and pet dogs. There are 3 restaurants within a few minutes walk. We speak at least English, German and Greek fluently

PRICES:
For 1 - 8 guests: 350 €/night in July & August. 250 €/night in September. 150 €/night in October (Dorothea house).
For 9 - 10 guests: 460 €/night in July & August. 330 €/night in September. 190 €/night in October (Dorothea house & Nestor studio).
For 11 - 13 guests: 520 €/night in July & August. 370 €/night in September. 220 €/night in October (Dorothea house, Nestor & Penelope studios).

In this video, I am approaching the S.W. corner of Kefalonia on my yacht Mondo Cosseri. Mooring at the harbour of Argostoli was the happy ending of my Odyssey. This was a sea voyage of 4000 kms over water, having sailed from London, UK. If Paliki was indeed the Homeric Ithaka, then perhaps Odysseus/Ulysses followed the same heading of 90 degrees due East from the straits of Messina and thus saw what I saw, that is the S.W. corner of Paliki as his first sight of his homeland.
