Food is where we begin.

From there, the conversation moves easily between what is on the table and what is around us: the island’s main town, its history and everyday life on the island.

A piece of cheese can take us to the mountain villages where it was made. A glass of Kitron brings us back to the tree and the family distillery that has been working with it for more than a century. Dinner and w**e leave time for the conversation to continue.

Since 2018, our heart has been in the highlands, the hidden kitchens, and the stories of the people who make Naxos what it is. 🌿

What started with a simple mission to share the real Naxos has turned into nearly a decade of unforgettable meals and lifelong friendships. We’ve stayed «rooted in community» from day one, honoring the traditions that make every bite of our island so special. 🧀🍷

The scenery might change, but our passion for authentic «philema» (treats) remains exactly the same. Thank you for making these years so incredible.

After a month of eating baguettes, tapas and pintxos, an unreasonable amount of oysters, drinking our body weight in w**e and vermouth, devouring dangerous quantities of unidentified stinky cheeses, discovering the beauty of Basque cuisine, being spoiled by Italian & French chefs and lovingly hosted by dear friends in the south of France - and probably going on a few too many food & w**e tours (purely for research, obviously)… 🙌

…We can say that this trip really had it all - a much needed refill of energy and inspiration!

👩🏻‍💻Now we’re back in Naxos, carefully preparing the next chapter of Philema.

This new season brings:
✔️New website.
✔️New services.
✔️New ways to connect - same love for real, authentic Naxian moments.

We’re getting ready and can’t wait to share our new plans with you!
