Normal is overrated.

At least for me.

I’ve never wanted a life that revolved around waiting for weekends, counting vacation days, and postponing dreams until retirement.

I want adventure. Growth. Experiences. Meaningful work. A life worth remembering.

If normal excites you, that’s okay.

But it was never the path I wanted.

I have a confession.

I think Iceland ruined me.

The first time I went, I thought it would be a one-and-done bucket list trip.

Instead, it became the place I compare everything else to.

The black sand beaches.
The camper van nights.
The weather that changes personalities every ten minutes.
The feeling that you’re driving through another planet.

Most people have a favorite restaurant.

I have a favorite country that I keep returning to because my brain apparently decided, “Yes. This is our personality now.”

4:00, wallow in self-pity;

5:00, solve world hunger, tell no one;
5:30, Jazzercise;
6:30, dinner with me—I can’t cancel that again;
7:00, wrestle with my self-loathing...
….I’m booked.

One of the biggest mindset shifts I’ve ever had was realizing success is customizable.

Your dream life doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s.

You don’t need to follow the traditional path if it doesn’t fit you.

Whether your version of success is entrepreneurship, travel, family, freedom, or something completely different, the goal is to build a life that’s aligned with your values instead of someone else’s expectations.
