Corfu Tours

We were really impressed with the diversity we saw during our recent visit to Corfu & it’s pretty town which is included in our tour on the Island.

A beautiful mix of Venetian and neeer modern architecture with much more to explore then the average Greek Town, and with this green Ionian Island different in history & also in climate to the dryer windswept Cyclades.

Lots to see but we recommend going either side of the main tourist season.

Enjoying Athens Plaka ❤️
If you visit Greece this year you will probably find yourself in this area which lies around the foot of the Acropolis. It’s a mix if archaeological sites, 19th century architectural styles, cafes, restaurants, markets & shops including touristy souvenir shops to some nice upmarket ones side by side. Lots of energy and a vibrant place to explore. The only downside are pickpockets so we always warn our guests about that. So basic precautions here & your time will be nicely spent l!

An island without cars❤️
Spetses is close enough to the mainland for a short ferry hop from Athens and at one small port in the Peloponnese, just 10 minutes by water taxi. If your short on time but still want to a slice of Greek island life, this is one of our recommendations. Nice cafes & restaurants but book early to find the best accommodation.

The Byzantine Museum 🏛❤️
With one of the largest such collections in the world and just a short walk from the main square of Syntagma in Athens, this is worth a visit. A center of Byzantine culture for hundreds of years, this period is overshadowed by the earlier classical works. Housed in a beautiful building with a nice leafy cafe it is also an active museum with lots of temporary exhibitions through the year.
