The Caretta-Caretta sea turtles trust the beaches of Rethymno every summer to lay their eggs, and we are committed to protecting them!
To celebrate World Environment Day, our local community—from the little ones at the 2nd Experimental Kindergarten to families, local artists, and the dedicated volunteers at ARCHELON—came together to show that sustainable tourism is in our nature. 🌱
Through environmental performances, face painting, stone art, and our educational "Sea Turtle Beach Walks," we are teaching the next generation and our visitors how to live in harmony with the environment.
As the children of our community perfectly said: "Turn off a light so a life can bloom."
