Wilmington, North Carolina, is the perfect getaway! We had to focus strictly on the riverwalk because there are SO MANY good options!

Let's get into it! We are staying at the Hotel Ballast by Hilton. This hotel overlooks the beautiful Cape Fear River with ample outdoor space to enjoy. The perfect place to stay and walk everywhere! Whether you are enjoying the summer by the pool or a chilly fall night, it checks all of the boxes.

For dinner, we are making reservations at Floriana. You want to make a reservation specifically for a balcony seat. It overlooks the river, and sunset just hits different. Not to mention the food 🤤 A glass of w**e, a plate of pasta, and a night to remember.

After dinner, we are walking down to The Elephant. A moody, award-winning speakeasy you don't want to miss! Careful, if you don't know where you are going, you will indeed miss it.

While we are in town, we are going on a Cape Fear River boat! We also recommend touring the USS North Carolina across the river. There are boat transfers across the river!

Our coffee pick doubles as a morning coffee or an exquisite espresso martini! We recommend trying the flight 👀 Check out the smores, and highly encourage a reservation at night.
