Our studio apartments were build in 1992 by my father Jimmy (Dimitri) and my grandfather Emmanouil. It was not easy for my dad to fix everything while running our first family business - Pizza Cave (which is still here :)). But after such a hard work, Jimmy's place was build (called Cleopatra studios II. before). My dad had very good business going on, many people from around the world and from around Greece would come visit every summer, new guests started to become old friends, and the apartments just buzzed with life.
Of course, as we all know, the currency changed in Greece from Drahma to Euro, and that did not help the tourism very much, because Greek island suddenly became expensive to travel to. So we went through a little bit of struggle, little bit of crisis, but after some time, it started to pick up again...
And here we are, me -Mike (Emmanouil, after my grandpa) and my wife -Karolina took over the studios, renamed it after my dad (cause who deserves it more, right? :)) And we have been fixing the place up. New paint job, new equipment, picture frames, little touches here and there and a lot of work on the garden. We are proud how Jimmy's place is turning out and we know very well, that the work is not done, and probably never will be. But thats ok... We love to come up with new ideas, and try to keep our apartments nice, clean, comfy, cozy and peaceful.
So... come to Samos and stay with us in Ormos Marathokampou, in one of our studio apartments. Join us for a drink or two at Pizza Cave (our restaurant since 1983) or come by to taste our amazing pizza, pasta and burgers. We will be happy to host you for your summer holiday, or your spring hiking trip, or autumn beach and caves exploration... We will find something amazing for you to do and see even in the winter. :) As we like to say: COME AS GUESTS, LEAVE AS FRIENDS!
