...lovely "clay works" group ❤️
6 days of Yoga with and ceramics with me was such a beautiful experience for all of us 🥰 so much love, care and laughter! I think the name of the seminar "re-treat myself" was just right and reflects on every face of these beautiful soles 🙏🏼 thank you so much from the bottom of my heart to all of you! I feel recharged and rich inside and now having even more to give! ❤️❤️❤️
I really wish you'll taking some of this richness back to Israel and into your daily lives to make the world a better place again 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I wanted to try a glaze transfer!
And it worked on leather hard clay with the Stroke &coat von Mayco.
Let's see how it comes out after Bisk firing ..
maybe it needs a transparent layer in the end 🤔

Zierknöpfe für den Landsberger Kunstautomaten.. Haar Raku auf geglättetem Ton und mit Antik Wachs auf Hochglanz poliert.
Leider fängt meine Handy Kamera den Glanz nicht wirklich ein ...

Small dishes decorated with the cuerda seca technique..
that's a collection of work from my students and myself. It was very soothing and relaxing and a lot of fun to do! Thank you to remind me of this beautiful Spanish technique, which they use for centuries decorating floor and wall tiles.
It was quite challenging to find out the right mixture for the glazes to flow evenly 😉

A "pot" like that I wanted to make for ages 😅...
Finally I had this idea with the "name" and was inspired through an Israeli colleague of mine doing a residency at our place 🧡

Crater glaze first attempt...
The glaze (Akiko's crater glaze) on the pot in the front was swelling so much in the kiln that I had to chisel it away and sanded it afterwards with a very rough sandpaper to smother the needle sharp edges. Still it has a rough touch...but it reminds me of rocks near the sea that has been washed out and smoothened by the salt water
I will definitely go on exploring with this glaze and the next time I avoid dipping it twice.. 😉

Finally I found the materials I need and carved my own stamps 😁
I wanted to order one which was around 90€...
so I thought I give it a try and make one of my own for 5 🤓
It's not perfect but I even like it even better like this....
