ONASSIS ERA | A glimpse into another time.

Some stories don’t need colour to be felt.

For our latest editorial concept, “Onassis Era,” we wanted to travel back to a time defined by effortless elegance, Mediterranean glamour, freedom and that unmistakable sense of timeless luxury.

Captured in black & white, our couple aboard Maia Grande, the beautiful sailing yacht of Odyssey Sailing Santorini, becomes part of a scene that feels almost suspended in time — especially knowing that this vessel carries its own connection to the legendary Aristotle Onassis.

Our intention was never simply to recreate an era.
It was to capture a feeling.

The romance. The sophistication. The mystery.
The wind, the sea, the effortless style of two people escaping somewhere in the Aegean…

Through every detail, every pose and every frame, we tried to bring a little of that iconic Onassis-era atmosphere back to life — through our own creative perspective.

Because sometimes inspiration begins in the past…
but becomes something entirely new when the right creative team brings it to life.

One of those moments that says it all… Lauren & Stu, surrounded by the beauty of Santorini at Cavo Ventus, signing their wedding papers just moments after saying “I do”, together with their wonderful celebrant, John Kavallaris.

And receiving such a heartfelt message from Lauren only a few hours after the wedding made this day even more special for me. This is why I love what I do — it’s not only about coordinating a wedding, but about the people, the trust and the beautiful relationships we create along the way.

Amy & Joe, your journey with Live the Dream began more than three years ago with a completely unexpected meeting at El Viento… and somehow, from those very first minutes, something special began.
From the first conversations and planning decisions to finally watching you say “I do” surrounded by the people you love, it has been an absolute privilege to be part of your story.

Your wedding photographs are the memories that remain long after the celebration ends — so choosing your photographer should never be based on Instagram highlights alone. 📸✨

Before signing a contract, look beyond a beautiful feed and ask the questions that truly matter:

1. Will you receive a detailed written contract?
2. Can you view at least one complete wedding gallery?
3. Has the photographer worked in a venue with similar lighting conditions?
4. Do you feel comfortable with their personality and energy?
5. Is a second photographer recommended for your guest count and timeline?
6. What are the delivery times, backup procedures and cancellation terms?

A professional photographer should be able to capture your day consistently — from the quiet morning preparations to the ceremony, sunset portraits, speeches and first dance.

As a wedding planner and coordinator, I always encourage couples to choose suppliers not only for their style, but also for their experience, reliability, communication and ability to perform under real wedding-day conditions.
