Experiential tourism also includes fishing tourism, which aims to give visitors in Santorini the opportunity to actively participate in various local traditional activities. More specifically, fishing tourism enables excursionists to follow the process of traditional fishing but also to fish themselves. We are Arvanitis family, and with three generations raised at sea and 60 years of experience in

the fishing field, we decided to give new life to the history of fishing on the island. Our boat Giorgaros departs from Vlychada, the fishermen’s port. Our excursion starts by throwing in new nets and lifting the nets of the previous day. Participants will get the chance to watch the live fish and shrimp caught in the nets. Then we moor the boat on the White or Black beach and while our guests swim, fish with fishing rods or relax, we cook the fresh fish. The meal includes freshly caught fish, grilled, fried or kakavia with risotto and salad. In the afternoon ride, dinner is served against the backdrop of the unique sunset of Santorini and its reflection in the sea. During the excursion the trained crew will offer information to attendees about the geology of the island and the natural sights such as the Rock of the Indian Chief, the Cave of Fokia etc. There are two tours per day (depending on the weather and the time of the sunset). Στα πλαίσιο του βιωματικού τουρισμού εντάσσεται και ο αλιευτικός τουρισμός, ο οποίος αποσκοπεί στο να έχουν την ευκαιρία οι επισκέπτες του νησιού μας να συμμετέχουν ενεργά σε διάφορες δραστηριότητες και παραδοσιακές ασχολίες των ντόπιων. Αναλυτικότερα ο αλιευτικός τουρισμός δίνει τη δυνατότητα στους εκδρομείς να παρακολουθούν τη διαδικασία του παραδοσιακού ψαρέματος αλλά και να ψαρεύουν οι ίδιοι.

Εμείς ως οικογένεια Αρβανίτη έχοντας τρεις γενιές μεγαλωμένες στη θάλασσα και με την εμπειρία 60 χρόνων στο χώρο της αλιείας αποφασίσαμε να δώσουμε νέα πνοή στην ιστορία του ψαρέματος στο νησί.

Το καΐκι μας ο Γιώργαρος αναχωρεί από την Βλυχάδα, το λιμανάκι των ψαράδων. Η εκδρομή μας ξεκινάει ρίχνοντας τα δίχτυα ή τους κιούρτους και σηκώνοντας τα δίχτυα της προηγούμενης μέρας. Οι εκδρομείς παρακολουθούν τα ολοζώντανα ψάρια και το γαριδάκι να σπαρταράνε στα δίχτυα και στους κιούρτους.

Στη συνέχεια αράζουμε το σκάφος στη Λευκή ή στη Μαύρη παραλία και όσο οι επισκέπτες μας κολυμπάνε, ψαρεύουν με καλαμίδια-συρτές ή χαλαρώνουν, εμείς μαγειρεύουμε τα ολόφρεσκα ψάρια. Το γεύμα περιλαμβάνει φρεσκοψαρεμένα ψάρια ψητά, τηγανητά ή κακαβιά με συνοδεία ριζότο και σαλάτα. Στο απογευματινό δρομολόγιο το δείπνο σερβίρεται με φόντο το μοναδικό ηλιοβασίλεμα της Σαντορίνης και το καθρεύτισμά του στο πέλαγος.

Κατά τη διάρκεια της εκδρομής το καταρτισμένο πλήρωμα του καϊκιού δίνει πληροφορίες στους παρευρισκομένους για τη γεωλογία του νησιού και για τα φυσικά αξιοθέατα όπως ο Ινδιάνος, η Σπηλιά της Φώκιας κ.α.

Πραγματοποιούνται δυο δρομολόγια την ημέρα (ανάλογα με τον καιρό και την ώρα του ηλιοβασιλέματος). Το πρωινό γύρω στις 10:00 με 15:00 και το απογευματινό γύρω στις 15:30 με 21:00.

Αύριο στις 11 π.μ στην κεντρική πλατεία των Φηρων.

Η ασφάλεια είναι δικαίωμα όλων είτε πάει το παιδί σου να μπει σε ένα τρενο είτε υπάρχει ανάγκη για εκκένωση ενός νησιού.

Δεν είναι ώρα για ψευτοδιαχωρισμούς.

Είναι ώρα να στήνουμε τα θεμέλια μιας άλλης κοινωνίας!!!

Αυτής που τα παιδιά μας θα ακούνε τρένο και θα βλέπουν εκδρομές και ελευθερία όχι θάνατο έγκλημα και αδικία...

Αυτής της κοινωνίας πρόνοιας που δεν θα κηρύττει από την μία ένα νησί σε κατάσταση έκτακτου ανάγκης αλλά μετά θα ζητάει κανονικότατα εισφορές πληρωμές κλπ σαν να μην συμβαίνει τίποτα!

Οχι δεν πάει τίποτα χαμένο. Όλα είναι κερδισμένα.
Κάποτε κάνανε χρωματικούς διαχωρισμούς στο ποιος θα κάτσει που στο λεωφορείο. Πλέον βγαίνουν πλανητάρχες αδιακρίτου καταγωγής ή χρώματος.

Κάποτε οι γυναίκες δεν ψήφιζαν

Κάποτε δεν τολμουσες να εκφράσεις τις ιδέες και τα πιστεύω σου.

Καποτε ο έρωτας ειχε συγκεκριμένο φύλο.

Όλα αυτά έχουν κερδιθει μέσα από αγώνες και ψυχές-συνειδήσεις που οραματιζονται μια κοινωνία ανθρωπινη ελευθερίας και ασφάλειας
