Today in Santorini, local travel agencies and transport professionals took part in a strike connected to the new cruise passenger-flow rules affecting the island.
We want to say this clearly: this was not against cruise guests, and it was not against cruise ships.
Cruise visitors are welcome in Santorini. They bring life to the island, support many local families and businesses, and for many travelers, this stop is a dream they have waited years to experience.
The real issue is access.
