Save the date🍇Sunday, November 11 is the European Day of Wine Tourism 🍷Are you familiar with it? The European Day of Wine Tourism was established in 2009 and is annually celebrated on the second Sunday of November with the participation of the European Network of Wine Cities and Wine Tourism Networks, member of which are many cities and wineries across Greece. The aim of the Day is to highlight wine culture and wine tourism. Thus the wineries - members of the Networks host special events and activities. It is a great opportunity to visit any destination in Greece with wine tradition, even the islands! Hundreds of wineries across the country stay open from morning to evening, expecting visitors and offering activities such as guided tours, new and vintage wine tastings and wine pairings, walks through vineyards and updates on the fresh wines of this year's harvest which has just been completed.
