Every year, thousands of sea turtles return to Costa Rica's beaches to lay their eggs 🐢
Witnessing a turtle nesting or hatchling release is a truly magical experience, and one that highlights the importance of protecting these incredible creatures for future generations.
Volunteer and experience hands-on conservation work includes:
🔦Night Patrol & Day Surveys // Protect the turtles from poachers, track nesting activities, and record data.
🫶🏽Hatchery Monitoring // Safeguard the eggs or clean the beach.
🐢 Turtle Release // Safely release the turtle hatchlings onto the beach.
Peak seasons for this are July through December on both the Caribbean and Pacific coasts.
