Behind Casa Eloise 🤍
Casa Eloise was born from roots, legacy, and a deep love for Guatemala.
Sara Eloise was raised in Guatemala and left home at just 19 years old to pursue her education and career abroad. Today, she lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she works as a UX Product Designer for Cisco Systems. Though life took her far from her birthplace, Guatemala has always lived in her heart.
Casa Eloise is a tribute to two remarkable women who shaped her life: her mother, who carried Guatemala forward with strength and grace, and her grandmother Eloise, whose name the home proudly bears. Their resilience, wisdom, and love inspired Sara and her husband, Brad, to invest back into the country that formed her.
Brad has long felt at home in Latin culture—drawn to the music, the food, the warmth of the people, and the Spanish language. Together, Sara and Brad share a love for travel and meaningful places, and Antigua Guatemala is one of those rare destinations that makes them feel truly alive.
Their son, Elijah, has been traveling to Guatemala for over 15 years, growing up connected to the culture, traditions, and community that make this place so special.
Antigua is magic: earthy volcano views, Mayan traditions woven into daily life, cobblestone streets alongside modern and sophisticated architecture, and a culinary scene that blends history with innovation.
Casa Eloise is made possible by an incredible local team—security, cleaning, maintenance—and a supportive group of neighbors who look out for one another. This home is not just a place to stay; it is part of a living community.
We are deeply grateful for our community and honored to share Sara Eloise’s roots with you.
Welcome to Casa Eloise.🌸🌷🌻
