It is one of the MUST things to do when you visit Guatemala, whether you only stay for five days or less!

Hiking Acatenango is challenging, but it is worth it when you see the eruption from the LIVE volcano (Fuego Volcano). It erupts every 15 to 30 mins, especially when the dark comes. You will see the red-hot lava running down the volcano. I mean…. It is one of the most magnificent things in the world.
