Self-discovery is a profound journey ✨ One that can awaken tears, laughter, excitement, confusion, and all sorts of emotions. We embrace this process, and so do our artists 🥹

Last week, we had the honor of visiting the artists in their communities with the guidance of our psychologist, Nancy 💛 She prepared a beautiful workshop during which the artists revisited some themes such as re-signifying your personal story and listening and embracing your inner child.

This time, Nancy used the technique of aromatherapy to create a safe space for the artists. Profound aromas such as lavender and bergamot helped them connect with their body and emotions.

✨ With a more open heart and relaxed body, the artists reflected on their journey of mental health. It’s always joyful to hear them express themselves with no fear or judgment just being apologetically themselves!

This gorgeous table runner was crafted by Rosa Cubur, an embroidery artist from the community of Sumpango. We can see the intricate and delicate stitches forming the central birds framed by geometric patterns. 🧵 Rosa loves nature and it’s a big inspiration for her work. It’s beautiful how every artwork is the projection of her creator. 🤲🏽 Each thread is filled with the energy of the hands that designed it and brought it to life.

🧵✨ At Multicolores, the creative journey doesn’t end when a piece is finished—it continues in community.

Every now and then, our artists visit the office in Panajachel to fine-tune their pieces before they’re ready for the world. It’s a moment for reflection, for shared feedback, and for celebrating the collaborative spirit that shapes each creation.

Lucia Solís, one of our talented rug-hooking artists, recently brought her latest piece to life here—a radiant rug filled with bold red and blue hues, blooming flowers, and soaring birds. With guidance from fellow artists and our team, Lucia added the final touches, transforming her vision into a finished work of art.

These visits remind us that behind every stitch is not just a creative self—but a circle of women lifting each other up. 🌸🕊️
